Bas Hartman passes AWS Certified Cloud Practioner exam
Bas just completed his first step to becoming an AWS consultant: he passed his AWS Certified Cloud Practioner exam. Congratulations, Bas!
In this article we mentioned Bas wanted to professionally develop within our company. After Bas started his internship at inQdo, he began working as a support desk employee. Rather quickly, he developed a preference for Amazon Web Services and now he’d like to join our team of AWS consultants. And he’s fully committed to achieve his goal.
Bas prepared for the Cloud Practioner exam by working together with his colleagues, asking questions and completing AWS courses via the online learning platform A Cloud Guru. His preparation paid off: Bas is now certified! And he’s very motivated to stay on track: he’s planning to complete the next exam even before this summer.
AWS Certified Cloud Practioner exam
The AWS Certified Cloud Practioner exam is a ‘basic exam’ of Amazon Web Services. It’s perfect for individuals who need basic knowledge and experience of the AWS cloud. In contrast to the other AWS certifications, this exam is non-technical and covers, among others:
- Defining what the AWS Cloud is and the basic global infrastructure
- Describing key services on the AWS platform and their common use cases (for example, compute and analytics)
- Describing basic security and compliance aspects of the AWS platform and the shared security model
- Describing basic/core characteristics of deploying and operating in the AWS Cloud
At inQdo, we encourage our colleagues to keep on developing their hard skills and soft skills. Exams like the above mentioned fit well into this strategy: by obtaining certifications, our colleagues keep on top of their game.
