April 12th, 2022 – My name is Kees Serier, I started on April 1st (and this isn’t a joke) at inQdo Cloud as an AWS Cloud Engineer.
Born and raised in Utrecht and I have lived in IJsselstein for about 30 years. I have two daughters from a previous marriage, and since 2018 I have bought a house in Ede with my current partner. Ironically, my new job is near my old hometown.
Besides my work I find many things interesting, unfortunately I don’t have time for all the things i like. At the moment I am mainly doing sports, thinking of fitness, cycling, hiking and golf, but also experimenting and programming with Linux, photography, jobs around the house and garden, reading and music.
I studied electronics, because I wanted to work with computers. After my military service, I started working in hardware in Vianen. I eventually went into computer software like UNIX and C programming.
After a transfer, I worked at various companies with, among others AIX and HP-UX. Eventually I ended up at inQdo Cloud. My interest was aroused because inQdo Cloud works with AWS. After each job interview I was more interested in AWS.
Now I am working at inQdo Cloud, it turns out that this is also the case. There is a nice atmosphere!
I hope to get “up to speed” soon to be able to commit to inQdo Cloud and contribute to my current experience.
