March, 16th, 2023 – Let me introduce myself: my name is Peter Karsten. I am 30 years old, and I live in Leiden. Since March 1, I joined inQdo as a junior integration specialist, and I am looking forward to learning a lot in the time to come.
In my spare time, I spend time at my allotment garden, where I get to know the cyclical character of nature better and enjoy taking care of the raspberries, pumpkins and oyster mushrooms, among other things. I also enjoy playing board games (Chess, El Dorado, Macchiavelli) and reading about mindfulness, psychology and philosophy.
Python and psychedelics
Thanks to a broad interest, I have done many different things. I have studied political science, taught yoga, given advice in a smart shop about responsible use of psychedelics and have been actively involved in climate change activism. When I was introduced to Python, I saw that programming fit well with my logical and problem-solving abilities. After a short IT traineeship, I ended up at inQdo and here I hope to delve into integration and make this field my own. I have felt very comfortable at inQdo from the moment I applied, and my expectation is that I can learn a lot from my colleagues and that we will have fun working together. I am definitely looking forward to it!
