March, 21 2023 – Let me introduce myself: my name is Wim Kimenai. I’m 22 years old and live in Bavel (a small village next to Breda). Before I started my journey in IT I used to work as a music producer. After going through a tough period during the covid pandemic I discovered that a full time career in the music industry wasn’t right for me. However, I’ve always had a big passion for IT and during this period it rapidly sparked my interest again.

Last year I’ve been re-educating myself to become a Cloud Engineer. With the help of Techgrounds I came across inQdo Cloud. The moment I walked in during my job interview I already had a great feeling about the company, so I’m very happy that I get to be working at inQdo Cloud!

At inQdo Cloud I’ll be working as a Cloud Support Engineer, where I will be assisting clients and help to solve problems that may occur during their hosting process in the Cloud. I will also be working on new solutions to help improve the support experience for clients. Next to that I’ll be focusing on gaining more knowledge and experience so that I can level up my AWS certifications.

I’m expecting to learn many new things, I love being thrown in the deep end and having to do a lot of research. Next to that I expect a nice workplace with fun colleagues, where I’ll have lots of room to grow and develop myself.

Due to my previous work experience I’ve always been very creative. This also made me develop a lot of problem solving and analytical skills. With these skills I hope to bring a unique insight on problems we might experience and come up with innovative solutions.
